Pequeno Príncipe Gala celebrates the reunion for life

The event will once again be held in person on October 14, at 6 p.m., at Gotham Hall, in New York

After two years online, the Pequeno Príncipe Gala will once again be held in person in New York. The advancement of vaccination campaigns around the world and the results they bring – with a considerable reduction in serious cases and deaths – allow the resumption of the traditional format of the event, which will follow the guidelines of the health authorities.

With the support and traditional engagement of philanthropic supporters Daniele Giacomazzi Behring and Amalia Spinardi Thompson Motta, who in such a committed and solidary way mobilize efforts for the success of the initiative, the Pequeno Príncipe Gala 2022: celebrating life and health will be held in Gotham Hall on October 14 at 6 p.m. (local time in New York).

With the return to the face-to-face modality, the event will once again highlight the tasty and refined menu prepared by renowned chefs, led by patron Claude Troisgros, who has been conducting and enhancing the initiative for over ten years. This year, he will cook alongside the talented Thomas Troisgros, Daniel Boulud, Manu Buffara and Rafa Costa e Silva.

The couple Renata and Cláudio Garcia will be honored. Longtime supporters of the Gala, they are dedicated to philanthropy in areas such as health, education, culture and art, through the Garcia Family Foundation. The scientific honor of the year goes to pediatric cardiologist Dr. Leonardo Mulinari, who was head of the Cardiac Surgery Service at Pequeno Príncipe Hospital and in recent years has headed the Pediatric and Congenital Surgery Service at the University of Miami. The night will also have a pleasant musical attraction at the end.

Among the initiatives to mobilize society to support the cause of children’s health, the Pequeno Príncipe Gala stands out. The event has been held for 11 years, which together have raised more than US$ 4.9 million for the institution’s assistance and research activities. The resources enable institutional support that is reflected in results in the main care and research indicators.
