Pequeno Príncipe’s latest acquisition makes use of artificial intelligence in order to monitor patients and alert health professionals whenever there are changes in parameters that may evolve into sepsis so that they may act and preserve the patient's health. Sepsis is a severe widespread infection, considered to be one of the main causes of hospital death. It is estimated that in Brazil there are about 2.5 million cases of sepsis per year, causing approximately 250,000 patient deaths.
