March 13-15, 2023Place
Varandas do Mar, São Francisco do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil1,2We are organizing this international workshop and scientific workshop focused on exchanging collaborative efforts to improve clinical outcome of pACT. Your participation will be highly appreciated to help us build connections and networks in future clinical studies.
Our gathering will give you an overview of recent experimental findings in molecular and cellular biology, epidemiological and clinical developments, and data mining – bioinformatics to better understand pACT biology and improve clinical outcome. New genomic markers may predict development and pACT diagnosis, since improved treatment of pACT at stage III and IV is expected to increase survival, using new immunotherapy protocols and new drug therapies in particular.
Conventional in vitro models of inter-tumor and intra-tumor heterogeneity are being developed through new cell culture strategies of patient-derived cells aimed to develop xenograft models. Critical immune parameters, the host’s immune status, and the site of tumor implantation are considered in animal models of the metastatic disease in preparation for clinical trials.
Here, we discuss with a critical approach the exchanges and advantages in networking during the last two decades to overcome technical and resources limitations to improve clinical translation of pACT research.
We have put together a program having in mind our present and future projects.
