The Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe Hospital is one of the more than 15 institutions benefited by the Ovo Project. Created by jewelry designer Ana Khouri (photo), who lives in New York, and by stylist Helena Sicupira, the initiative encourages the donation of exclusive pieces, from personal collections, signed by great stylists and renowned designers. These pieces are resold and the proceed is destined for many organizations. In this COVID-19 pandemic moment, the project, which has the support of Vogue<\/em> magazine, is supporting institutions that are at the forefront of the fight against the coronavirus. \u201cI have faith in the future. It is time to get together. We need to look at each one of us as part of a whole,\u201d says Ana.

The Ovo Project team invites people to donate clothes and other accessories from their own collections. The pieces, from luxury brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Dior, Chanel, Versace, Jack Vartanian, Jimmy Choo, Herm\u00e8s, Valentino, Cartier, Yves Saint Laurent, among many others, are disclosed on the project\u2019s Instagram profile (@projetoovo<\/a><\/strong>). The donor chooses which institution the proceeds of the sale will be addressed to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe\u00a0is already receiving donations from the project and the funds are supporting the actions to combat COVID-19. \u201cThis initiative is a demonstration of how society can come together to support institutions that are fighting the coronavirus. With a very simple attitude, to open your closet and make a donation, an engagement is created and transformed into concrete support for this emergency situation that we are experiencing and that is putting so many lives at risk. At this time, more than ever, financial resources are essential for our institution to continue to serve all boys and girls in Brazil with excellence. Gestures like this\u00a0effectively contribute to saving lives,\u201d reinforces the executive director of\u00a0the Hospital, Ety Cristina Forte Carneiro.

In addition to Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe, the Ovo Project is benefiting, among other institutions, the Central \u00danica das Favelas (CUFA), Women from Parais\u00f3polis Association, Redes da Mar\u00e9, Albert Einstein Hospital\/Campaign Hospital of the Municipal Health Secretariat of S\u00e3o Paulo, Emergency Health Fund – Coronavirus Brazil, and Uni\u00e3o S\u00e3o Paulo.
