The event will begin with a beautiful tribute to health professionals who are at the forefront of confronting the coronavirus. To bring the audience closer to the thousands of lives impacted annually by the work of Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe, several real stories of overcoming will be presented, such as the incredible story of the patient Isabel, the glass-bones\u2019 girl; Gabriela, who was conceived to save her brother and ended up becoming her own miracle; and little Laura, who, after a year of hospitalization, was discharged and could live a normal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gastroenterologist of Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe, Jocemara Gurmini, will make a special contribution, commenting on some cases and the relevance of highly specialized services such as offered by the Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Honoree<\/strong> In this scenario, nothing is fairer than the Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe Gala 2020 to honor a scientist: the physician Carolina Prando, a researcher at the Pel\u00e9 Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe Research Institute who is dedicated to studying immunodeficiencies and, more recently, the relationship of this condition with COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gourmet<\/strong> In this online edition of the Gala, Troisgros continues to support Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe. In a year in which the whole world is fighting an invisible but highly lethal enemy, which has already taken so many lives, science needs to be acclaimed. One of the main hallmarks of the Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe Gala is the refinement of the menus served at dinners. These are dishes specially prepared for the event, curated by chef Claude Troisgros, who is the patron of the initiative. In addition to executing one of the dishes served annually, he mobilizes the other chefs to participate voluntarily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inspired by hope for better days, which will be possible thanks to the work of scientists, health professionals and the solidarity so present in this challenging year for all, the Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe Gala 2020 will end with a performance beyond special: singer and actor Tiago Abravanel. Long-time supporter of Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe, Abravanel will perform a vibrant show, singing classics of Brazilian popular music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
