2025 Pequeno Príncipe Gala surpasses goal and raises US$ 720,000 in a night of solidarity and haute cuisine
Event at Belmond Copacabana Palace brought together renowned gastronomy names, philanthropic investors, and special tributes in support of child and adolescent health

The legendary Belmond Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro was the stage for an unforgettable evening where emotion, art, and solidarity came together around a greater cause: childhood. In its 17th edition, the Pequeno Príncipe Gala exceeded expectations and raised about US$ 720,000, funds that will strengthen the health assistance and research areas of Pequeno Príncipe.
Curated by chef Claude Troisgros, the event’s patron since its first edition, the dinner was prepared by a team of haute cuisine stars: Roberta Sudbrack, Helena Rizzo, Jessica Trindade, and Wellington Barcellos. Together, they created a unique experience where flavor and solidarity came together for the benefit of thousands of children and adolescents.

Sustainability and purpose
In 2025, the Gala also took a step forward in its connection with the future: it became a carbon-neutral event. All generated emissions will be mapped and offset, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — an agenda that unites health, science, and the environment for the sake of life.
A celebration of hope
The night was conducted with elegance and emotion by masters of ceremonies Bruno Gagliasso and Léo Fuchs. Event co-chair Daniele Giacomazzi Behring highlighted the transformative power of uniting generosity and purpose: “The Gala raises resources that generate knowledge, research, and hope. Every donation turns into treatment, into healing, into future.”

The executive director of Pequeno Príncipe Hospital and general director of the Pelé Pequeno Príncipe Research Institute, Ety Cristina Forte Carneiro, emphasized the event’s relevance in light of the challenges of child and adolescent health in Brazil: “Even today, out of every three babies who die before their first birthday, two could be saved with proper diagnosis and treatment. Participating in the Gala is helping change this reality and save lives.”
Ety also announced that the Hospital’s vision for the future remains firm, with the expansion of Pequeno Príncipe North and the Futurin endowment fund, which will ensure the institution’s mission sustainability for generations.
Tributes and emotion
The 2025 Gala was marked by moments of deep emotion and recognition. Model and influencer Daniella Sarahyba Klabin was honored for her engagement in social causes.
Physician José Sampaio Neto, head of the Liver Transplantation Service at Pequeno Príncipe, received tribute for his scientific trajectory and impact on the lives of hundreds of patients.

The evening also featured performances that delighted the audience, with Coral Agência do Bem, George Israel & Band, and DJ João Pinaud closing the celebration in an atmosphere of joy and gratitude.
Charity auction and generosity in action
The charity auction was one of the highlights of the evening, featuring artworks, jewelry pieces, sports memorabilia, and exclusive experiences. Each bid represented more than a gesture of solidarity — it was a direct investment in the lives and futures of thousands of children.
Among the highlights were works by André Mendes, Maria Klabin, and Artur Lescher, an Olympia Le-Tan clutch, an autographed jersey of 2024 champion Flamengo, and H. Stern earrings from the Moonlight collection, offered in partnership with Daniella Sarahyba Klabin.

Solidarity that transforms lives
Since its creation, the Pequeno Príncipe Gala has mobilized Brazilian and international society, raising more than US$ 4.8 million for the cause of child and adolescent health. These funds make it possible to acquire high-cost medications, reagents, equipment, and structural improvements, ensuring that Pequeno Príncipe continues to offer excellent, humanized, and accessible treatments for children across the country — and much innovation.
“Each gesture, each toast, and each donation made at the Gala becomes care and hope. It’s proof that when talent, empathy, and science walk together, the result is transformative.”
