On October 9, Curitiba will host the Gala do Bem, an event to mobilize society to support health assistance and research activities in childhood cancer, developed at Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe. The Gala do Bem unites haute cuisine and solidarity to contribute to the reduction of infant mortality.<\/p>\n\n\n

The highlight of the evening will be the exclusive menu consisting of a starter and two main courses prepared by renowned chefs, led by the patron of the event, chef Claude Troisgros, who will cook alongside chefs Morena Leite and Rafa Costa e Silva. Espa\u00e7o Klaine, a great supporter of the project, will host the event and sign the exquisite dessert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will feature the involvement of two great supporters of the cause of children and youth health: Many Tigre Elache and Marjorie Geiger Hauser will be the philanthropic supporters of this very special edition. For more than ten years, they have already mobilized their relationship networks in favor of the cause of cancer and played a fundamental role in the implementation of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Service at the Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe, which today is one of the main services in Latin America, carrying out about 10% of all pediatric bone marrow transplantations in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will also have a reserved moment to honor important names in philanthropy and medicine. Tatiana Reichmann, CEO of Ademicon, and hematologist Eur\u00edpides Ferreira will be the main honorees of this edition.<\/p>\n\n\n

Tatiana, a businesswoman from Curitiba, will be the social honoree. She is a supporter of Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe and has stood out in the business world for her human and inclusive vision, highlighting the importance of the role of women in the labor market and the relevance of philanthropy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doctor Eur\u00edpides Ferreira is responsible for implementing and developing the Oncology and Hematology \u2013 which began in the 1960s \u2013 and the Bone Marrow Transplantation services in Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe. With a lot of study, knowledge, compassion, and humanization, he made possible what today it has become the largest oncology service in Paran\u00e1 and one of the most important pediatric bone marrow transplantation centers in Latin America. And in that way \u2013 and with the support of the entire team of the services \u2013, he welcomed, treated, cared for, and saved many children, adolescents, and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
