With six works registered, the institution competed with another 544 abstracts by health services from all over the country and won first place with the research \u201cPharmacist in the Health Value Office: study of micro-costing of hospitalized patients with suspected intracranial hypertension\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/pequenoprincipe.org.br\/newsano7\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/06\/PP_News_Ed5_2023_Materia4_1-1024x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1694\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pequenoprincipe.org.br\/newsano7\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/06\/PP_News_Ed5_2023_Materia4_1-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pequenoprincipe.org.br\/newsano7\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/06\/PP_News_Ed5_2023_Materia4_1-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pequenoprincipe.org.br\/newsano7\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/06\/PP_News_Ed5_2023_Materia4_1-768x480.jpg 768w, https:\/\/pequenoprincipe.org.br\/newsano7\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/06\/PP_News_Ed5_2023_Materia4_1-1536x960.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/pequenoprincipe.org.br\/newsano7\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/06\/PP_News_Ed5_2023_Materia4_1-1568x980.jpg 1568w, https:\/\/pequenoprincipe.org.br\/newsano7\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/06\/PP_News_Ed5_2023_Materia4_1.jpg 1690w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed by the team from the Clinical Research Center and the Office of Value Management of Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe, the study came to the conclusion that the costs of hospitalization reimbursed by the Brazilian Public Health System (SUS, abbreviation in Portuguese) or by health insurance plans for the investigation of intracranial hypertension serve as a basis for the manager analyze the financial sustainability and for the distribution of resources and prospect negotiations based on values with the operators. It was also concluded that there are few pharmacists with expertise in economic analysis who work in hospital care, which highlights an area to be explored by these professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>Another important recognition of Pequeno Pr\u00edncipe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another abstract submitted by the Hospital, which was among the ten best papers selected, was \u201cCost-effectiveness analysis of the accelerated implementation of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program directed by Clinical Pharmacy to avoid acute kidney injury associated with vancomycin: SUS (Brazilian Public Health System) perspective\u201d.
